Application Hosting
Nextcloud hosting
Your own private cloud for files, calendars and contacts.
What is Nextcloud?
Nextcloud is an open-source platform for syncing and sharing files, calendars and contacts, on hosting you control. It is a private alternative to public cloud storage.
What Nextcloud needs
- PHP and a MySQL database
- A cron job for background tasks, which you can set up in DirectAdmin
- Storage for every file you sync
- Free SSL, included on every plan
Which plan fits
For personal use or a small team, Deluxe or Ultimate give you the storage to sync and share files. For a larger team, heavy file syncing, or add-ons such as online document editing, choose a VPS.

Nextcloud questions
Quick answers to things people ask before signing up.
- Yes. The official Nextcloud apps for computers and phones connect to your own Nextcloud site.
- Online document editing needs a separate document server, which shared hosting does not run. Use a VPS if you need it.
- It depends on your plan. The storage for each plan is shown on the plan cards above.
