Are there any fees for transferring a domain to NivaCity?

Yes, for most extensions. The transfer fee depends on the extension, and some, such as .co.za, transfer for free. You can see the transfer price for every extension in the price table on our Domains page.

• A year is added for most extensions. For extensions such as .com, .net and .org, a transfer includes a one-year renewal, so a year is added to your current expiry date. For example, if your domain expires on 05/11/2027 and you transfer it on 17/09/2027, its new expiry date after the transfer will be 05/11/2028.
• Failed transfers are credited back. If your transfer fails or is cancelled, we credit the full transfer fee back to your NivaCity account.
• No downtime. Your nameservers are not changed during the transfer, so your website and email keep working.
